The Motor
Vessel Galapagos Explorer II is a 293.14 feet/89 m cruise ship.
With a speed of 17 knots, the Explorer II enables passengers to
see more of Galapagos in less time. The ship also provides all
the facilities and services to make the cruise enjoyable and
comfortable. The ship has a capacity for 105 passengers, but due
to the National Park regulations, it only carries 100
passengers. It has 50 suites, each with private bathroom and a
small sitting area. Each of the 50 suites has an ample private
bathroom with shower, wardrobe.

The new cruise
ship in the Galapagos Islands from March 2008 on is LA PINTA,
which shall be the epitome of luxury, pleasure and comfort in
Galapagos. The ship is a new 63-meter yacht, with a capacity for
32 guests in 24 cabins. La Pinta is an appropriate yacht for
families, with six cabins at least interconnected and will also
have four triple cabins. All cabins have panoramic windows,
air-conditioning, safe, a lot of space to store everything and a
writing desk with draws.
