ICA/ NAZCA ECONOMICAL

1st
Day
Approximate
departure at 06:00 (whether private transportation or regular bus) to Ica
City to start our excursions. Arrival and transfer to selected hotel.
After hotel check in, transfer to aerodrome to board the light aircraft
towards Nazca. There we will fly over the enigmatic Nazca Lines. (It lasts
approximately 2 hours).
After our return, we will start our Ica City tour, visiting the Main
Square, the Luren Sanctuary, the Regional Museum that shows several and
interesting pieces of the different cultural periods and a scale model of
the enigmatic Nazca Lines.
Ending the tour, we will visit the beautiful Huacachina lagoon to enjoy an
authentic landscape in Ica: Palms, dunes and legends. Transfer to your
selected hotel. Overnight.
2nd Day
Continental breakfast.
Rising at dawn we will be transferred to the Harbour in a private
transport where we will reach the wharf to board comfortable motorboats
specially conditioned for the Ballestas Island's journey.
It is possible to appreciate the famous Candlestick which is considered
the origin of the Nazca lines; rocky formations that are the home to an
important marine fauna as the Guaneras birds, the guanay, the piquero, and
the zarcillo among others birds, as well as some Peruvian Penguins in
danger of extinction. We will also see several sea lions. We will return
to Paracas harbour.
There we will stop at the National Paracas Reserve, Peru's only Maritime
Reserve with a 335,000 hectares Surface. (117,406 hectares land and
217,594 hectares ocean surface); we will see "The Cathedral", a
natural rock formation eroded by the wind and sea. There we will see a
great variety of birds. Free time at the evening to enjoy the region
followed by lunch. (On passengers own). At fixed time, return to Lima.
Note: Transfers in Lima are not included in regular service.
